To support the children’s ‘Improving the Environment’ topic this term, Year 6 went to Moor Fields Farm in Soyland for a tree planting session run by ‘Treesponsibility’.

The children were given a talk at school about the work of ‘Treesponsibility’ and the importance of trees for our environment. On site, children were shown how to plant trees safely and correctly so that the tree saplings would survive.

Impressively, year 6 managed to plant 147 trees.

Well done Year 6!
